Often the data is distributed across various departments or individuals and due to this very reason a Master user collects all the data offline in Word or Excel format and then do a data entry into to the tool.
Use cases
- Distributed collection of data - This functionality will help you if you want to collect the data which is distributed across multiple departments or across colleagues.
- Collect everthing online - Instead of sharing the word or pdf or excel files to collect the distributed data, using this functionality you can collect all the data online without worrying about maintaining multiple files.
- Avoid user registrations - If you want to collect data from multiple users but do not want each user to register to the system and have access to the complete survey.
- Control access to survey - This functionality will only display the survey pages that are shared with them and will hide all the other so that user can only respond or see the pages shared with them.
Benefits
- Easy maintenance - Instead of maintaining mutiple offline documents or emails everything can be collected online without much hassle.
- Saves time - Since everything is directly collected online super users do not have to do any data entry which saves a lot of time.
- User convenience - Users do not have to follow registration process to be able to respond to the survey. A username and password is directly shared with them on an email.
- Data Security - Users are only given access to the survey pages that are shared with them and hence they would not be able to go to any other pages are make any changes. Also all the responses are only saved as draft and can be confirmed only by super user so there is a maker and checker process before its finally saved.
