Dataset Function

Dataset Function List

1. Use Search box to find any specific functions by name.

2. To add new function click on + icon.

3. To edit or make changes in existing function click on Edit icon.

Add Dataset Functions

1. Add the function name which you can use in datasets later. It is editable only when you add.

2. Expression is for database developer or programmer.

3. Add the description of the function in Help field.

4. Function returns some value and it has some data types and it is specified in Data type field. It is for database developer or programmer.

5. Click on Create button to create new function.

6. Click on Cancel button to discard the creation of function.

7. Test the Expression is a field contains data of expression.

8. To test expression is correct or not click on Test button.

Editing Dataset Functions

1. Shows the name of the function and it is not editable in edit page.

2. Expression is for database developer or programmer.

3. Add the description of the function in Help field.

4. Function returns some value and it has some data types and it is specified in Data type field. It is for database developer or programmer.

5. Click on Update button to save the changes.

6. Click on Delete button to delete that function.

7. Click on Cancel button to discard the editing of function.

8. Test the Expression is a field contains data of expression.

9. To test expression is correct or not click on Test button.
