Side Overview with the selected current page

The Side overview is showing list of all the questions and sections with highlighting current page on which user currently is. Company users can view the different sections, pages and navigate with the help of this page. Side overview helps the users to navigate from the current page to any other page in the survey. Navigation is made easy as displayed below

Progress bar on the overview page

The progress bar feature will be enabled the users to see the progress that the company is making in completing the survey. I would give clarity on the percentage of completion of the survey. This can be enabled or disabled based on the requirement.

Below recording is showing how progress percentage are updating on completion of the questions. 

How does this % progress work?

The % complete of a survey is decided based on the following formula : Number Of Completed Questions * 100 / Total No Of Questions In The Survey

In majority of the cases, the total no of the questions include those questions which are required or mandatory in nature. However, to include optional question (in the count of total no of questions), we have a config key with the name "IncludeVoluntaryQuestions" whose value needs to be set to True.

We have different groups per section and each group has a set of questions. Some of them are mandatory while some are optional. To determine the % we only consider mandatory questions. The process is as follows:

  1. First, we take a count of all the mandatory questions that are a part of the entire survey.
  2. Secondly, we then take a count of all the ANSWERED questions which are mandatory in nature.

Basis the above 2 points, the % of the survey completed is determined. 

Flagged Indicators and Pages

This feature is used as bookmark where company users can Flag the page or indicator and the Flagged status is updated on the Overview Page. Below recording is showing Flag the page, Flag the particular question and on overview page showing status as Flagged for section, pages if any of the pages are flagged. This helps the users to bookmark a question and revisit the same later when they have the relevant information or mark the questions for review by their colleagues. 

Guidance Popups

Below recording is showing the Guidance popup created or added by Survey admin user for showing some useful information, instructions for the users about the questions to provide clarity. There can be up to 3 popups displayed for different content.


Share a Page

If you want your colleague to give respond on a specific section of a survey and don't want to give him / her an access of the entire survey, you can use this feature. The system will send an email to your chosen recipient, which will include the parts of the survey sections that you want to share.

  1. If you’re on the overview page, you choose what pages to share by ticking the boxes next to the pages subject under the tabs to the left. Your colleague will only have access to the pages that you share and not the entire survey.
  2. If you choose to share from a specific page, you will only share this page with your colleague.

You can also add a personal message below with details about what you would like them to do. Your colleague will only have access to the pages that you share and not the entire survey. The sender email will be the email address that you have used to login to this platform.

Prefilling from previous year

This is mainly useful when the companies provide their responses every year. Its is observed that most of the times only 20-40% of the data changes year on year. So to help companies complete their survey faster we have a prefilling feature which pre-populates the responses from last year and mark them so that users directly know what they selected last year instead of visiting their previous survey and spend time. This saves a lot of time for the users.

Frontend User Management

User management is a page where super users from the company can manage their own users, whether they want to keep them active or inactive or add other users that are part of his company/signatories. This page holds the information about all users belonging to one company/signatories. Below recording is showing the user management by the company users

History Feature

History feature is for showing the history of changes made to the responses this year and users can also view previous years response for each indicator and view responses of all companies for that particular indicator. Below recoding is showing the history of one indicator.

Live Scoring

Live scoring is a feature where company users can see the live score on survey pages and overview pages. This feature only shows the scores in points and does not show the score is percentages.

Send Invitations

Send Invitation is used to send bulk invitation email to participants for survey start. And it will send email to participant on email address provided in Primary Contact Email associated with each participant. You can also use this feature for any other communication you would like to make for the companies.

Send Reminder

As the name suggests using this feature you can send reminders to the companies and its users. Reminder button is used to send email to all users who have submitted or unsubmitted survey or who have not started survey etc. It will send email to all registered users of specified companies, if users are not registered of particular company, then email will be sent to Primary Contant Email address. On clicking on Reminder button, u will be redirected to reminder page as below screen.

Document download from Overview page

This feature enables the user to view their own responses for all the indicators of the survey in a pdf file or in word document and save it in their folder rather then visiting each page of the survey.

This feature enables the user to view their own responses for all the indicators of each pages of the survey in a pdf file or in word document and save it in their folder. So each page would be having a separate pdf file which includes all the indicators present in that particular page.

Public/Private disclosure

We can set Public/Private disclosure status for each indicator into the survey. We can make it "Mandatory Public", "Private" OR we can also set it voluntary for the users to make it Public/Private.


Export dataset

This feature allows you to export any dataset to any cloud storage account. To activate this feature please contact 73Bit Team.

Show evidence details on survey page

This feature can show the uploaded evidences below the attachment button on survey page by enabling configuration "ShowUploadedEvidenceOnPage".
