Two Main Categories : Frontend Users and Backend Users.

Frontend Users (Logins)

These are referred to as Logins.

  • Who are considered frontend users?
Those who register into the system through the registration process. Company registration
  1. Company Users :
  • These users interact with the frontend of Probench when they log in to the system. They can log in as company users and provide responses on behalf of the companies or participants.
  • They will see the Portal page, where they can select the survey they wish to respond to.
  1. Shared Users :
  • These are companies that use the Share Page functionality. A temporary user is created in the background for them.
  • They are not part of the Logins, but they are considered frontend users. Whatever company users can see, shared users can see as well.
Note

Probench can have any number of such users i.e. there is no restrictions on the number of users that can be registered for a single company.

Backend Users (Administrators)

These are referred to as Administrators or Managers.

  • They have the rights to configure surveys, access the survey to view all data for all companies, and set datasets.
  • These users are also known as Probench Managers. They have the rights to perform all administrative and configuration activities.
  • They can create surveys, create participants and invite them, retrieve data, configure feedback reports, etc.

These users are divided into various roles, as shown in the image above and described below:

  1. Administrator - Users with this role can perform all the activities mentioned above in Probench.

  2. Response Managers - Users with this role can impersonate all participants, allowing them to view, modify, and respond on behalf of those participants. Examples of such users include analysts, assessors, reviewers, and NGOs. However, they cannot perform any other activities reserved for administrators.

  3. Reporting Managers - Users with this role can create and manage datasets, as well as retrieve data submitted by participants. They can also configure feedback reports and send them to participants.

  4. Survey Managers - Users with this role can create and manage surveys, including creating templates and surveys.

  5. Readonly Managers - Users with this role can impersonate participants and view their data but cannot add or modify it.
